The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of . Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

The following organizations may link to our Web site without prior written approval:

Online directory distributors when they list us in the directory may link to our Web site in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Web sites of other listed businesses; and System wide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Web site.

We reserve the right at any time and in its sole discretion to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our Web site. You agree to immediately remove all links to our Web site upon such request. We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuing to link to our Web site, you agree to be bound to and abide by these linking terms and conditions.


Removal of links from our website

If you find any link on our Web site or any linked web site objectionable for any reason, you may contact us about this. We will consider requests to remove links but will have no obligation to do so or to respond directly to you. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.


Content Liability

We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing on your Web site. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your Website. No link(s) may appear on any page on your Web site or within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.



To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). Nothing in this disclaimer will:

  • limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
  • limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
  •  exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

Payment, Service Fees, and Charges

What are the Package Owner service fees?

It is free to join ShipDunia, list a shipment bid, receive bids from Travelers, review Travelers' ratings, and make shipping arrangements. If the Package Owner awards a shipment bid, the ShipDunia service charges are calculated from the shipment subtotal. The subtotal is the amount of the awarded shipment bid. We charge the Package Owner x% service fee of the shipment subtotal.

Depending on the jurisdiction, ShipDunia may be required to apply additional VAT charges and other relevant governmental taxes over and above the total x% service fee. The service fee submitted to you on our platform will include VAT when applicable.


When the Package Owner books the shipment online, we charge you the total of amount of the shipment including all relevant charges.

You can see the amount of the service fee in your Transaction History page.

The Package Owner’s payment is protected by the ShipDunia Secured Escrow Account System. The money is paid to the Traveler only when the Owner requests ShipDunia to release the funds upon delivery of the package.


What are the Traveler service fees?

It is free to join ShipDunia, create a profile, post a travel ad, discuss delivery details and package contents, bid on shipments, and make arrangement to collect the shipment.

If you are awarded a shipment bid and you accept it, we charge you a small service fee to cover the cost of the platform maintenance. Service fees for Travelers typically range between x%-y% depending on the nature of the shipment and awarded bid amount.

Depending on the jurisdiction, ShipDunia may be required to apply additional VAT charges and other governmental taxes over and above the total x% service fee. The service fees submitted to you on our platform will include such VAT when applicable.

The service fee will be calculated and clearly displayed when the Traveler accepts the shipment bid award.


How do Travelers get paid?

Once the recipient notifies the Owner that the package has been successfully delivered, the Owner performs the following actions to allow ShipDunia to release payment to the Traveler:

  • Update the shipment status to “Delivered”
  • Request to release payment to the Traveler (add path here)

Upon the Owner’s request to release payment, ShipDunia releases the bid award amount accepted by the Traveler.


What are the payment methods accepted by ShipDunia?

The financial transactions performed on our platform are processed by the ShipDunia ePay secured payment solutions. The payment methods that are accepted include credit and debit card, PayPal, direct deposit, international wire transfer, and mobile payment in countries where it applies. How do I set the price for my shipment bid?

ShipDunia does not set any shipping price. We endeavor to take advantage of existing communication infrastructure and travel itineraries to increase sharing and exchanging more things between people around the world. We encourage Shipment Owners and Travelers to openly negotiate shipping rates and enter into an agreement to have more things shipped worldwide. For shipping price comparison purposes, please check the rates proposed by traditional shipment companies such as USPS, UPS, DHL etc.


Package Pickup/ Shipment handling

How can a Traveler collect a package/shipment?

If the package Owner and the Traveler are located in the same area or nearby communities, you may arrange a face-to-face meeting to collect the package. In case the Package Owner and the Traveler live far apart, the Package Owner may mail the package to the Traveler.

In any case, whether the Traveler collects the shipment from a face-to-face meeting or from the mail, it is the Traveler’s responsibility to open the package and check to ensure the content is consistent with what is listed on the ShipDunia platform.

As a Traveler, if you happen to meet the Package Owner in person, remember to ask and clarify any doubt regarding the package handling conditions and delivery details. Remember every Traveler has been entrusted with a mission to deliver a package on time!


Shipment/Package Delivery

How does a Traveler deliver a package?

Once you collect the package, have a safe trip and remember to enjoy your travels, meeting new people discovering wonderful places. Follow the delivery instructions agreed upon during the shipment bid process to meet the shipment recipient. Before you deliver the package, ensure the following information (submitted by the recipient) is consistent with the shipment details:

  • Recipient ID
  • Shipment tracking #

Once the shipment is delivered, update the package status to “Delivered” to get paid as soon as possible.

Remember to share your travel experience by uploading and tagging on our platform any pictures of the world wonders you visit and people you get the opportunity to meet.

In case of face-to-face pick up, it is the Traveler’s responsiveness to ensure that what is collected from the Owner is exactly what is listed on the ShipDunia Platform.

If the package is mailed to the Traveler, it is still the responsibility of the Traveler to open and verify that the package is consistent with the description of the awarded shipment bid. As a Traveler, if you receive a package through the mail that is not as described and/or is illegal, please do not travel with the package. You need to contact the ShipDunia Customer Service for further instructions.

Shipments shall also be compliant with U.S. Transportation Security Administration requirements and the International Civil Aviation Organization safety requirements
